The tables where it is decided
Much of what happens to an Indigenous business is settled before it enters the room: in a buyer's plan, in an agency's guidance, in a state company's strategy. The Foundation sits at some of those tables. This page says which ones, in what capacity, and what the person sitting there recuses themselves from.
Where the Foundation holds a mandate
Spaces the institution takes part in. Each role is stated as it is, without promotion.
Technical Secretariat · Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
Since May 2025 the Foundation has held the Technical Secretariat of the Chile Working Group, assigned by the Voluntary Principles Initiative. It coordinates the space where companies, the State and civil society discuss implementation of the standard in the country. It is a mandate carried out and funded, not a distinction received.
Mirror Committee of the OECD National Contact Point
Chile's National Contact Point for the OECD Guidelines convenes a Mirror Committee of twenty-two organisations (companies, unions, civil society, academia and Indigenous Peoples), plus two State observers, to advise it on its relationship with stakeholders. The Foundation is one of the two Indigenous Peoples' organisations on it, alongside MUCECH.
World Indigenous Business Forum
The Foundation took the podium at the Melbourne edition, in October 2025.
Where its people take part
These memberships belong to the people who hold them, not to the institution. They are published all the same, because a certifier that will not say where its people sit is asking for a trust it does not offer.

BHP's Chile Indigenous Peoples Plan 2026-2030, released in May 2026 and running for five years, includes an Indigenous Advisory Panel among its governance mechanisms. Venancio Coñuepan has been a member since it was constituted, in December 2025.

An advisory body convened by Codelco to shape its Indigenous Peoples Strategy. Its members include Chile's National Human Rights Institute, the ministries of Social Development and of Mining, academia and territorial Indigenous leadership.

What happens when the two lists meet
Two of these memberships are in spaces run by companies that buy, and the Foundation certifies those who sell to them. When the person taking part in a company's space has to rule on an application from that same company, or from one competing with it, they recuse themselves from the deliberation and the vote, and the recusal is minuted. Article 15.4 of the Regulation on Use and Control requires it, and the Certification Committee's Code of Conduct sets out how.
Publishing this costs less than explaining it later.
